I Finally Did Something With my Raspberry Pi

December 03, 2022

Wow, it’s already December…where does the time go? I took some time off from work over the Thanksgiving break. During that time off I knew I wanted to find something to do for my Raspberry Pi. I’ve had this thing for about three or so years now and really the only thing I’ve ever done with it is use it for some Linux Admin course I took at school. Actually, that may have been my first Pi, which was a Pi 2, this “new” Pi is a Pi 3 B+. It’s done nothing but collect dust since then, until now.

What did I do with my Pi? Great question. I turned it in to a headless Spotify client. I’ll link the article below if you’re interested. I’ve got a stereo in my office with some decent speakers. The Pi now sits on a shelf next to the stereo and gets used just about every day. I love that I can easily select the Pi as ,y device from Spotify. This was a pretty easy project, and it’s paid dividends.

Aside from the Pi project, what else have I been up to? I’m still contributing to DistributeAid, I started playing with Puppeteer, and recently switched out my ebay/frankenstein keeb for my Ducky one to mini.

Link to Spotify/Pi article.

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.
